Shipping Information & Policies

Note:  We strongly encourage you to ship to a business address as it improves the likelihood that an adult signature will be obtained on the first delivery attempt. It is also less expensive than shipping to a residence. 
Adult Signature is Required with delivery of all shipments containing alcohol. You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages.  In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom you are directing delivery is at least 21 years old.The person receiving the delivery MUST show identification to the common carrier upon delivery proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. We strongly encourage using a business shipping address when possible to facilitate the carrier’s chances of collecting the adult signature as required by law. We cannot ship wine to PO Box or APO addresses.

Shipping Disclaimer:

Please note that we make every effort to process orders within 48 hours of receipt. Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared. Currently, orders are processed for shipping on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Exceptions may be made when a holiday falls during the week or as order volume dictates. Orders received on these days may not automatically ship the same day. For all orders, shipping time frames depend on product availability and inventory at the time the order is placed. Customers will be notified by email if a shipping delay of more than 3 business days is expected. 


Shipping Costs:


At this time, your FEDEX total includes real-time cost of shipping as well as the cost of shipping materials. Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared. Shipping available to U.S. addresses only. A business address is preferable. Buyer represents that they are at least 21 years of age. Buyer may choose any shipping option, however it is recommended that FEDEX Ground be avoided during extreme weather. Additionally, FEDEX Ground can take 7 days to arrive over long-distances (e.g. to the East Coast). We recommend a faster shipping option to those destinations. 



The following conditions relate to the shipping of goods by New World Wine Imports Inc:

By requesting shipment of any merchandise the purchaser agrees to all of the following conditions: New World Wine Imports Inc. makes absolutely no suggestions or intimates the right of any person to import alcoholic beverages across state or international boundaries. We ship as purchaser's agent on behalf of the purchaser and title passes to the purchaser in CA. It is up to the purchaser to determine whether they may lawfully ship or import wine to their state of residence. New World Wine Imports Inc. is not liable for loss, damage, and confiscation. If you wish to ship merchandise other than as advised by New World Wine Imports Inc. you do so at your own risk and may be asked to complete a Release of Liability. 


Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared. 


Wine is shipped in Styrofoam shippers at buyer's expense. These costs are included in your FEDEX total at checkout. Our packaging and shipping charges accommodate bottles in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 bottle increments.  For example, if you order 7 bottles – you will be charged shipping for the standard 12 bottle package.

No shipments will be made to anyone under the age of 21. You will be asked for identification when your shipment is delivered. Failure to provide proper identification will result in your shipment being returned to us at your expense.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Please call if you wish to confirm any prices. If an order contains a product with a listed price that differs from price quoted on our website an email or phone call will be made to verify adjustment.
